We all love you Meryl and will miss you terribly. Your incredible insight, courage and selfless heart transcend any disease.  Your zest for life and unbreakable spirit will remain in a small part of each and every one that you held dear to you.

Meryl was clearly engaged with making the world a better place. Her intelligence and passion permeated everything in her life. Her smile, love of family, her love for animals as well as kindness towards everyone will remain with us all forever. We were blessed by her presence and she left each and every one of us a small part of her as a very special gift to us all.

I believe Meryl would have said, "please don't remember that I died, remember that I lived."
